DIGGIA GROUP PRESENTS THE IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT OF 5G IN CÁCERES ALONGSIDE VICE PRESIDENT CARMEN CALVO

For two years, both the city of Cáceres and the campus of the University of Extremadura will be the stage for a major 5G trial. During this period, the technology will be experimented with through five use cases to observe its functionality and explore possible improvements. The use cases include:

  1. High-quality immersive teletraining in minimally invasive surgery.
  2. Automatic control of Smart Grids.
  3. High-quality immersive tourist experience.
  4. Remote control of electric vehicles.
  5. Autonomous fleet driving of electric vehicles.

This project is made possible through the collaboration of Red.es, Gamma Solutions (a subsidiary of Diggia Group), the Polytechnic School of Cáceres, and the University Center of Mérida.
