We are currently developing an ambitious project in Chile. Included in our supply systems area applied to telecommunications, we offer Alternative Energy System (AES) supply for different sites in Chile

This project target is to supply energy to more than seventy telecommunication sites which are located in remote and hard to access areas, being crucial for correct network operation in different regions in Chile.

 

A BIG CHALLENGE: LOCATION

Sites are distributed all over Chile´s geography , which dramatically increases the level of difficulty during the execution of the works. The extreme conditions make it necessary to use special equipment such as helicopter and/or boats. In addition to meteorological and enviromental factors, altitude sometimes exceeds 15,000 feet above see level.

 

 

A SOLUTION WITH TWO DIFFERENT TYPE OF SETTINGS

Solar and hybrid (solar and wind power) generation. The limited surface area where each solution must be built each construction involve a high degree of complexity. All of them are autonomous and  incorporate backing systems composed by banks of batteries with autonomy up to 48 hours. The target is to ensure the correct operation of our client´s telecommunication service, integrating all the equipment into customized booths suitable to withstand extreme weather conditions.

 

More than a half of the sites have solar generation systems through high efficiency photovoltaic panels (290 Wp) and charge regulators MPPT. The remaining ones integrate hybrid solutions which combine photovoltaic panels and wind turbines with two different powers (3.000 and 5.500 W) assembled on folding stands in order to help in preventive maintenance works.
